When this mom wrote in to set up a newborn session for her family in San Francisco, I was so excited! They had a beautiful townhouse, filled with natural light and creative interior decor.  Having all of the family there (including their two dogs) made this an extra cozy and intimate photo session.

I love the pops of yellow from dad’s shirt and the accent pillow.

Even though their little boy was under three years old, he did so well for his pictures! He really wanted so badly to do a good job and it just melted this photographer’s heart.

I mean, look at this natural! And you got to love it when the fur kids crash the shoot!

Their little girl was just the calmest, sweetest baby. She cruised through the whole session and everything was very relaxed. At the end, we did some special pictures with just mom and baby. It’s such a joy to really honor this new bond and relationship and document the beginning of a great story.
