It’s the perfect time for maternity photos right now, so I thought it would be fun to travel into the past and feature this glowing maternity session amongst the boulders in Granite Bay. If you saw the twin studio session a few weeks back, now you know where those girls got their good looks!

These two had the best sense of humor! We laughed and giggled through the whole session — my favorite kind of shoot!

The rock formations in Granite Bay provide a unique background with a neutral hue, and really made the colors pop. Sometimes the location, lighting, and clients all work together to create the perfect combination.

All the hopes and dreams these two have for their girls are clear on their faces as they wonder what the future holds. I can’t wait for them to look back on these photos and remember that feeling.

This park in Granite Bay is filled with different features, and this giant tree was stunning. It gives me the chance to get a little more creative and get some dramatic wide shots, which can look beautiful when printed large scale and displayed in the home.

I know these two are already awesome parents. They genuinely adored each other, and that’s the kind of love that will overflow over to their little girls!
