I’ve been photographing this family for years and I love coming to their farm in the Sacramento Valley. It just makes the most beautiful backdrop for photos with the colorful roses and amazing sunset. It was the perfect opportunity to do a mix of family portraits as well as some commercial photography for the farm.

I must also mention how to find out more about this incredible flower farm! It’s right nearby in Live Oak and they offer purchase of garden rose plants and they also put on regular workshops. Just look up Menagerie Farm and Flower — it’s a feast for the eyes!
