It is always such a joy to spend time soaking up the redwoods as a Davis family photographer! This location is just incredible. It’s got everything: redwoods, logs to sit on, and beautiful light streaming through the branches. With the right outfits, it can even feel very “Christmasy”, depending on the look you’re going for. It’s hard to believe that it’s only a few minutes outside of Downtown Sacramento!

I have been photographing this family for years and adore them. They always book their sessions to take place in the summer to celebrate their daughter’s birthday. It has been a joy to watch her grow from a newborn to now!
