I love being a Folsom family photographer and being able to capture loving maternity sessions like this one! Those last months of pregnancy are such a unique time as the family prepares for a new little one to enter the world. It was an honor to be able to capture those last moments as a family of three!

This sweet girl was so curious about mom’s growing belly. She brought the smiles! I love the picture on the right — so much joy with mom and daughter.

With so much change and uncertainty, it’s a special time to spend with older siblings one-on-one. Plus, it makes for great photos!

The photo on the right makes me swoon every time. Capturing those little details like the hands on the pregnant belly is one of my favorite parts of being a photographer!

Of course, we had to get some photos of mom and dad by themselves. Women go through so much in pregnancy, but the glow is real! I hope they can look back on this session and remember what a joy it was to dream about their new life as a family of four.

You know we couldn’t complete the day without highlighting the oak trees in Folsom. These beauties always make for the best photographs! I can never get enough of the golden hour sun peeking through the branches.
