There are a million great locations in our area, but it’s hard to beat family photos at Gibson Ranch! I love being this family’s photographer! Their smiles brightened up the place and we giggled all day.

Their pastel tones and flowy dresses made for some swoon-worthy photos. I like clothes with some movement in them, like these ruffles, tulle, and other textures. They give the pictures extra life! Plus, these natural colors matched the outdoor aesthetic perfectly.

Speaking of movement, there’s nothing cuter than a little girl twirling in her dress!

One of the best parts of this location is all the little creatures. It gives the kids a chance to run around and get some energy out while still getting some great photos! I adore these hair styles–so cute! And it keeps their hair out of their faces while we are taking pictures — win!

Fall is an especially wonderful time for family photos; golden hour seems to shine a little brighter than usual. There’s still plenty of green to feature while the colors turn.
