It was a perfect autumn morning for Sara and Donald’s session. There were still a few leaves left on the trees and there was a crisp chill in the air that melted away the moment we stepped into the sun. Speaking of sun, it was just perfect, all golden and low in the sky.
They wanted pictures of the two of them with their dog, Toby, which is so fun for me since that’s exactly where I’m at in my life — married with a “dog-child” who means the world to me.
It didn’t take long before I realized that these two were super fun people. We basically giggled for an hour and half straight! Well, Sara and I giggled, while Donald, uh, chuckled. That’s a more manly way to put it. Yes? 😉
This particular location is beautiful all throughout the year, but it’s especially pretty in the winter when the grass is tall and honey-colored and the oak trees seem to just wrap their boughs around the edges of the frame.
Although we were going for mostly candid and natural images, it’s always nice to fit in a few looking at the camera.
Cute people, beautiful location. What more could a photographer ask for?
