What better way to be celebrating a summer family road trip than with a photo shoot with a camper?! As they were preparing for a six-week road trip around the national parks, this mom wanted to commemorate their long-awaited adventure with a photo session. It was refreshing to get out to the woods and play for a while! How cute is this setup?!

No camping trip is complete without a fire and s’mores. These boys couldn’t wait to roast their marshmallows, but first, they had to sword fight with the skewers.

You can’t help but smile with a mouth full of chocolate.

Being gone for six weeks, you have to include some comforts of home. Little brother needed his stuffed animal to really make the trip memorable!

It was a little chilly out by the lake, but it was great weather for skipping rocks. So many childhood memories being made!

One of my favorite things about living in Sacramento is that you don’t have to drive far to get these beautiful mountain views. The pine trees never get old!
