in Children’s Photography Blog | Tips & Sessions

I wanted to share this family session in Davis because, not only are these some awesome and beautiful people, but because I love photographing families with tweens and teens. I’ve often heard people say they figure they’ll stop getting family pictures when their kids are past the age of eight or nine because they don’t think their kids will change much from year to year. Personally, I think kids change A TON between the ages of 8 and 18. The families who come back to me every year are proof of that, as their kids grow not only in height, but in personality. Since what we are documenting in these sessions isn’t just how people look, but how a family loves, and changes and grows together — that’s my true goal of what to reflect back in my photography session with you.

With that being said, let’s move on to sharing how much fun this family was! There was nothing but gorgeous light and beautiful smiles during this family session.
