There are many joys in being a family photographer, and reliving these fall photos in the Davis Arboretum is one of them! I have been lucky enough to photograph this family for quite a few years now. It’s always an honor to see the kids grow over time. And I think the parents are pretty cute, too!

These brothers are hilarious together. They love to goof around and make one another laugh. It seems like all of our sessions are giggly!

Even after dry summers, the Davis Arboretum has plenty of beautiful green foliage to explore. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, I would highly recommend it! Plus, they have plant sales every year so you can plant your own native garden! I like to keep a keen eye on their website to see what’s going on.

The boys are *almost* too heavy to carry, but Dad can still handle one in each arm for now!

The silly energy abounds in our sessions together. I love it when my clients can be themselves in front of the camera — it makes the final pictures even more special! The posed pictures can be great, but these unposed, natural looks will always be my favorites.

Of course, it isn’t a trip to the Arboretum without a portrait on the bridge.
