I went out to El Dorado at Shayla’s grandparent’s house for a “sitting-up stage” session. I also photographed Shayla as a newborn so it was so special to see her grow and her personality shine.
Each stage of baby-hood is so different from newborn to sitting-up to turning one-year. Each session is special, but the “sitting-up” session is full of smiles, connecting with the camera and lots and lots of thigh rolls – my favorite! This is actually my favorite time to photograph babies since they are oh-so-sweet and aren’t running away from the camera yet.
Fresh linens and cottons provide such a cozy and natural setting for snuggles and photos.
I loved shooting in front of the entry way to this beautiful new “French Country” house intricately designed by grandma.
This a great example of how to mix colors in all of the different outfits.
Let’s start planning your session!
