This sweet family had their very first professional photoshoot at Land Park, and it couldn’t have been more special! With a lush, all-green backdrop and light filtering through the trees, this session was filled with love, laughter, and the perfect balance of classic and candid moments. The two sisters were amazing with their little brother, and we made sure to capture a mix of posed portraits and natural interactions that really brought out their family bond.
One of the best ways to get a well-rounded family gallery is by including a mix of groupings. We captured the whole family together, sibling shots of the two sisters and their little brother, individual portraits, and of course, some sweet moments with just mom and dad. Breaking up the session into different combinations ensures that your final gallery has a range of images you’ll love—some perfect for framing, others great for gifts, and plenty that just make you smile every time you look at them.
Coordinating outfits without being too matchy-matchy is key to creating timeless family portraits. Instead of everyone wearing the same color, I always recommend choosing a complementary color palette that works well together. This family did a great job by sticking with mostly neutrals while mixing in some eye-catching texture—like mom’s beautiful eyelet shirt—and adding small pops of color to keep things visually interesting.
