July is here, and these summer family photos in the lavender fields of Newcastle are a great way to kick off the month! I love being so close to such beautiful locations. Lavender always makes me feel like summer has arrived.

It’s always fun to see how parents’ relationships with their kids evolve over time. Mom no longer has to carry her son on her back — he can carry her now!

When preparing for photo shoots, it’s great to think about how your outfits are going to coordinate with the environment you are in. The blues and purples in their outfits matches the lavender perfectly. Plus, it makes all of their beautiful eyes shine!

Their baby is growing up in more ways than one. Soon he’ll pass his dad in height.
