This summer family session at McKinley Rose Garden in Sacramento was absolutely dreamy! The sun was shining just right, these three had colorful outfits, and the flowers and trees made for a wonderfully rosy backdrop.

If you know me, you know I love to capture everything natural: natural light, natural poses, and natural settings. Just look how the sun shone on this precious little girl’s hair and highlighted her curls!

Of course, we had to get her in her natural habitat, which means not every picture is a picture-perfect smile! These faces crack me up and I know that they will be cherished by the family for years. I know I couldn’t say no to those puppy dog eyes!

Then it was mom’s and dad’s turn. This couple just exuded joy with every step, it made it easy to capture them!

Clients often bring little keepsakes with them, and this little stuffy brought an extra layer of sweetness to the shoot. They even gave it a coordinating dress!
