For this family session, we went to Apple Hill in early September when there was still fruit on the trees. The kids picked apples with their little red radio flyer wagon.

It’s a great spot for soft light coming down between the leaves and bringing a fun pop of color to your pictures.

I just love their blue outfits against the greenery and red wagon.

We did this shoot around ideas for the family Christmas card. We do something fun every year! This time, it was all about the apple orchard.

Even though there aren’t any apples on the trees in October-December, you can still buy some at the stands and incorporate them in fun ways into your session.
