This family is from Germany and it is their first year of living in California. One of their favorite spots since moving here is Effie Yeaw Nature Center.

They love the big trees and walking down to the river. We just wanted to capture this easy, casual phase in their family’s life — living here in sunny California.

During the summer and fall, Effie Yeaw is a great location for oak trees, golden grass, fallen logs and river pictures.

The sea of smooth stones and the tree roots make for an amazing backdrop.
