I was feeling the puppy love in this Downtown Sacramento photo shoot! I absolutely love when people include their dogs in their sessions and this one has a special place in my heart. These dogs come from the same place as my own pups and Boston Terriers are my absolute favorite. This shoot was bound to be a joy from the start! We explored different murals in Downtown — there are so many great spots for photos!

The smile on that dog’s face when she kissed him was perfect. It’s clear how much these two love each other… and the couple as well. 😉

The bow ties on these puppies–are you kidding me?!

Not only were the dogs the perfect models, the humans were pretty wonderful as well! I loved exploring different alleys in Sacramento and finding colors that would be the perfect backdrop for photos. It’s perfect how her red hair pops against the brick wall.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a couple photoshoot without a little dancing in the street.

All five of them were naturals in front of the camera. Their poses were organic and the lighting couldn’t have been more perfect. They are literally glowing in this Midtown street picture!

I know that pets can be such an important part of the family, and they deserve a place in the family photos. I hope this inspires you to include them on your next shoot! Let’s get that session on the calendar, shall we?
