I was thinking it might be fun to write about something both fun and unusual to do in Sacramento! If you’re into bats (yes, you heard me right), you can go bat viewing during the summer months for free! The time to see them is just as the sun goes down, so arrive a little before sunset and keep your eyes peeled! They fly out from under the causeway by the thousands. Just exit Hwy 80 at Chiles Road, park up by the levee and wait for the magic to happen! Oh, and don’t forget your bug spray!
