Get ready for some very special family portraits with mom, dad AND both sets of grandparents in a sea of wildflowers. We picked this beautiful grassland area with vernal pools and wildflowers, which provided an amazing backdrop for our family session. Three generations were present and it was rare and memorable to capture the light and love and the personal moments in between.

There is nothing like shooting during golden hour with my favorite kind of buttery light.

The dainty purple and yellow wildflowers can’t help but make you happy.

I love the colors in this photo. The bold pattern of her dress provides a wonderful contrast to the color splash of the flower.
