I remember the email I received from this family for their Land Park newborn pictures. Mom had booked another photographer for the shoot but she had ended up calling in sick the day before. So, the next day I got an email from mom asking if I could come on short notice, and it just happened to work out perfectly that someone else had rescheduled so I had an opening that day.
I arrived to their cute little house in Land Park with big sister introducing herself as soon as I walked in the door.
I asked if their daughter could hold the baby, and mom said “okay”, so we placed her baby brother down in her arms, and this big ol’ smile just spread right across her sweet face.
And from there on out, it was basically non-stop smiles.
A darling family photo taken in the window light of the nursery.
Mom’s friend makes these beautiful handmade blankets, the profits of which go towards helping marginalized and exploited women living in India. You can find out more about Anchal by clicking here.
I captured this cute one right at the end. I feel like he’s saying, “Nice work, photographer lady”.
