Caden rocked his sunny teen session at the State Capitol! I’ve known this kid since he was a toddler, smiling the same sweet smile you see on his handsome face now. His mom hired me for family pictures back when I had first moved to Sacramento in 2008, and we’ve been working together ever since. Getting to be along for the ride as these kids grow up is one of the best aspects of my job.

Caden was a trooper, willing to do everything I asked, and his photos turned out beautifully! The way the sun highlighted his long hair was gorgeous.

Of course, gotta get that college sweater in the pictures: UC Berkeley! The tree poses were giving old-school cool vibes.

There are SO many beautiful spots at the capitol gardens. I love going when the roses are in full bloom!
